The Board

Olusola Oyelade - (Chair of Board)
Sola is an Architecture graduate of the University of Lagos and Harvard Graduate School's Advanced Management Design. He completed specialized courses in Project Management at University of Toronto as well as Building Construction Methods at Ryerson University, Toronto Canada. He is also a certified Project Management Professional and a Chartered Architect. Sola has well grounded local and international experience in the building industry spanning over two decades particularly in areas of Design Development and Project Management. He joined the University of Lagos Consultancy Services; Housing and Materials Research Department as Architect after a successful completion of Service as a Graduate Assistant at the Department of Architecture.

In 1991 he joined API Consultants - An Architectural practice as an Associate Partner- a position he held until 1994 when he became the Founding Partner of CASA CONSULT, a Design/Project Management firm. Casa Consult is a multi-disciplinary organization dedicated to creating sustainable environment based on research and smart design principles developed over the years. Casa offers services in the following areas of practice: Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying and Project Management. The firm has expanded to Canada.The company has designed and constructed over 18 specialist Commercial buildings to date and is involved in Project management activities in Ontario, Canada and Nigeria. He is involved with Urban Renewal and GIS mapping projects in South West, Nigeria as part of the developmental/Growth initiatives for developing nations.

He is a result oriented and resourceful professional,  a full member of Nigerian Institute of Architects; a Chartered Architect registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON),a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Ontario Association of Architects (OAA)

At Casafoundation, Sola has oversight responsibility for Funding, resource allocation and partnership programs.

Rizalyn Vale (FOA Advisory Council)
Riza is a Senior Researcher Consultant in Manilla, Philippines where she graduated with a Masters In Development Management.  Rizalyn holds a B.Sc in Elementary Education majoring in Science from the Philippines. She completed her Senior Management Program (SMP) from Lagos Business School, Pan African University and an MBA from Lagos State University. She also graduated in Business management Studies from Damelin Management College, Pitermaritzburg, South Africa. She garnered Marketing and Brand Management experience in the Emerging markets over a period of ten years while with the Prilla Group in South Africa and later with the Dufil Prima Group in Nigeria.

In the Philippines, her research work focuses on Social Development issues in Asia and Africa with particular interests in Project Management of Public Sector Institutions and Organizations, strategic integrated solutions for development and capacity building programs. In the last couple of years, she has consulted for Foundations, NGOs, Civil Society groups, and Academic Institutions. With her private sector work experience in Management and field work coupled with academic, work experience in Social Development, her goal is to strengthen collaborations and integration of Public and Private Sectors to effect strategic community based programs in Education, Health, Child's rights and creation of livelihoods- that are viable and sustainable with the key objective to contribute to attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 for ASEAN countries and the African Region.


At Casa foundation, Rizalyn is a member of the Friend of Africa (FOA) Advisory Council and oversees the processes related to nominee identification, selection and presentation of qualifying individuals and institutions for the annual FOA Awards.

Adekunle  Adegbulu
- (Director)
Adekunle is a Medical Doctor (MD; BS, CCFP (C), FCFP (SA). He graduated from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 1988.  He has garnered several years of medical practice experience both in Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. After graduation, Adekunle worked as a general practitioner in Nigeria for four years after which he went back to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital to pursue a career in Radiology. In 1994 he moved his practice to South Africa, where he did postgraduate studies in Family Medicine after which he worked mainly as a Family Physician in the country.

Adekunle relocated to Canada in 2001. He is now the President of Oasis Health System Limited, a family practice and cosmetic medical clinic based in Alberta with branches in Airdrie, Cochrane and Calgary. 

 At Casa Foundation, Adekunle has responsibility for Health and family support services with specific oversight for medical assistance and immunization programs for toddlers in Africa. He is committed to health sector infrastructure development and continues to pursue developmental initiatives to support and impact Institutions within the African community on health issues.

Olawunmi Olafunmiloye - (Director)
Olawunmi manages the Enterprise PCI governance at Canadian Tire. She has significant experience in the telecommunications, retail, energy and financial sectors, in security management and corporate governance. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) as well as a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA),  she puts her skills to use daily assisting service providers and large enterprises in meeting stringent regulatory requirements and applying regulatory frameworks to their infrastructures. 

She is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University where she studied Food Science and Technology. She is Founder and President of the PCI Security Roundtable initiative bringing PCI peers together and promoting education and awareness on PCI related issues and trends.

Lawunmi is actively involved with other NGOs including Africa Missions (Canada Chapter) a charitable organization dedicated to reaching, restoring and rebuilding lives and communities in Africa. 

At Casa Foundation, Lawunmi is in charge of event designs and communications. She actively engages other volunteers and coordinates their activities.

Olutoyin Oyelade - (President)
Olutoyin is a Partner at Invcap, a Fund Manager. She manages and oversees all aspects of business development and operations for the group. Before then, she was with Casa Developments and the Intercontinental Group. At various times in her career she had responsibility for Funds Management and Client Management Operations in the financial services sector covering Europe, Africa and North America. She has held various decision making roles in the vertical sectors of Financial services, Management Consulting, Project management and Funds management that include: Group Executive, Funds management, Group Treasurer, Vice President, Investment Banking, Member of Asset and Liability Committee and Management, Credit Risk Committee. 

In other non-profit roles, she served as a Member of the National Executive Council of the Money Market Association between 2005-2009 and was instrumental to its smooth transition into the Financial Markets Dealers Association(FMDA) in line with structural changes in the global financial markets. She is actively involved in community development activities and currently serves on the Boards and Governing Councils of the Vita Manor ( A United Way Partner), Culbeat Foundation, and is a member of the Maytree Foundation, a Canadian registered Nonprofit which promotes Diversity in Corporate Governance.

Olutoyin holds a degree in Philosophy, an MBA from the University of Ife. She is a graduate of the Advanced Management and Business Management programs of Wharton Business School, International Institute of Management Development, (IMD), Switzerland and Lagos Business School (in association with IESE, Spain). 

As President at Casafoundation, Olutoyin supervises the general management of the organization and has responsibility for external and donee relationships committee of the board.
